New Grandmom

When I started my blog, three years ago, I thought I would have time to write with one little grandbaby. Proudly, I now have three grandchildren, and my time seems dramatically limited. I can still find time to post in my various categories: fashion, food, quotes...., so please try to stay in touch.

Visiting my grandson in CA.

I just returned from a visit to CA, visiting my 5 month old grandson. It was bittersweet - wonderful and so satisfying to be with him, but missing my granddaughter in PA.  He is adorable, and great proof that baby boys can be very different from baby girls. He's beautiful: big and boyish.

Getting better.

Babysitting did get physically easier. I was still very tired at the end of the day, but I wasn't physically wiped out. As my granddaughter grew (quickly), I was thrilled at her fascinating and beautiful growth. Her liveliness, curiosity and loving nature always eclipsed my feelings of exhaustion.

The words of the tongue

The words of the tongue should have three gatekeepers: Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
